Beta, How much do you earn?

You ask us – “beta, how MUCH do you earn?”

Sadly, we cannot just spurn!

But Aunty, just concentrate in your life,

Oh, wait! But do you really have one?

Why are you so concerned about the neighbour’s son?

Whatever we earn, slides into our pocket,

You are not getting even a share of it!

To intrigue in it, who gives you the permit?

With our income, we and our family are contended,

If you ask us again this question,

Then I believe, you should be tormented.
