The necessity of Vaginal Hygiene
Have you ever woken up with a burning sensation down there?
Doesn’t that itch really feel like it’s going to stay forever?
But the good news is that you don’t have to deal with these problems forever.
In a world where we are fighting hard for breaking the taboo related to sex and periods, it’s
easy to overlook the importance of personal hygiene because of the shyness that the taboo
creates. But the consequences of overlooking vaginal hygiene are hard to face.
Women are said to be health-conscious but it’s high time that they become conscious about
their intimate care. We are aware of our vaginal problems but you know where the actual
problem arises?
Talking about it!
There is a lack of awareness regarding vaginal hygiene along with no communication about
it. Hence, the ladies suffer in silence.
Women face change in their vaginal discharge in terms of flow and color. There are other
painful problems in terms of swelling, redness, rashes, etc. which a female has to deal with.
But I am going to talk about maintaining your vaginal hygiene because it’s important to be
careful about your vaginal area so that you won’t be suffering anymore from vaginal
infections like yeast infection or bacterial infection.
Let’s start with the basics.
Talking about urination.
One should always wipeout and clean their area when they are done with urination. It is
advisable to use toilet paper or a good-quality cloth. Keeping your vaginal area dry at all
times also saves you from the trouble.
Also, don’t forget to wipe out the vaginal fluids after intercourse. Also, condoms and sex toys
can lead to infections which makes it a necessity to get extra careful about your sexual
hygiene. This is very important to prevent the spread of bacteria.
It also counts changing pads, tampons, and panty-liners at regular intervals according to the
flow during your periods. Keep a check on your flow whenever you use the restroom and
change your pads or tampons at an interval of 4-6 hours because not only the odor would be
troublesome, not looking after your menstrual hygiene will also have severe consequences
to your health like Vaginal Yeast Infections.
While keeping up with our busy lives, we tend to forget about our vaginal hygiene and the
importance of it. It’s very important to take care of every inch of our bodies.
